Whether it’s a handwritten letter, a diary, or e-mail, we’ve all been tempted to read someone else’s private writing.  E-Males is a chance to indulge yourself without guilt!  My characters, Ebony and Wanita, will be none the wiser!  So you’ll get an intimate glimpse of what African American women really think and say when they think no one else is listening--I mean reading :)

Best Friends for Life (BFF’s) Ebony and Wanita tell each other everything.  No subject is off limits or too politically incorrect.  And these passionately opinionated women aren’t afraid to disagree and often do.

Part confessional and part exposé, Ebony and Wanita rant and rave about on- and off-line romances, meddling mothers, single parenting, workplace drama, and brothers on the Down Low while simultaneously debating serious issues about race, class, and gender.

At first, the technologically-challenged Ebony relies on e-mail only to get some much-needed instruction from computer geek Wanita.   Ebony purchases a PC for her graduate school studies, but winds up majoring in social studies when several on-line romances develop.  It’s all good until her correspondence with Wanita’s new flame,  and the revelation of a shameful secret about Wanita’s ex-husband, threatens to destroy their lifelong friendship.
